Duties Description • Oversight of Outgoing Mail and Labor Unit
• Acts as an indirect supervisor for the Outgoing Mail and Labor Unit. Duties include, but not limited to: Oversight of all outgoing mail for agency, driving agency leased vehicles, conducting monthly certified mailings and envelope printer processing, coordinating any maintenance needed for agency mailing machines, assist support staff with work orders where needed.
• Special Project Assistance with Space Planning/Leasing Unit
• Works in coordination with the Space Planning/Leasing unit. Including, but not limited to, facilitation of requested furniture modifications, measuring for proposed modifications and other assistance where needed.

Non-Competitive Qualifications for appointment under NY HELPS Program:
Three years of experience performing clerical, keyboarding, or paraprofessional work in an office environment.
Competitive Minimum Qualifications:
You must be currently reachable on the appropriate eligible list for this title, eligible under the 55 b/c
program (see below), or eligible to transfer to this title under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
70.1 Transfer:
For 70.1 transfer to a Program Aide, SG-13, you must have one year of permanent competitive service in an approved title allocated to SG-11 or above.

Appointments via transfer must not result in a second, consecutive transfer with an advancement of more than two S-grades or one M-grade.
